#5 The Dream of Homeownership is Real
This may be the most important item on this list. The average cost of an apartment in larger metropolitan areas like San Francisco and Chicago, is easily twice that of rent in Las Vegas. When all of your money isn’t going toward your living expenses, you are able to save for things like a down payment on a home.
Sports fans, fear not! In 2017 Las Vegas became the home to brand new hockey team The Golden Knights (second in the Pacific Division.) You can also look forward to The Oakland Raiders making their new home in Vegas in 2020.
